Organic Agriculture is a system that protects all natural resources, such as soil, water and air through farming methods that are according with the environment; without using any toxic syntetic input, pesticides or chemical fertilizers. As a result healthier fruits are grown for the consumer well-being. The accreditation granted for an organic producer certifies that the fruit complies with strict organic regulations.
Grupo Alta is also compliant with that establish by the EU Council Regulation (EEC) No. 2092/91 for the production of organic fruits.

The purpose of this Certification Standard is to ensure the integrity, transparency and global harmonisation for agricultural procedures. Inlcuding the requirements for food safety, workers well-being and environmental welfare.

US-GAPThese Guidelines were established to ensure Good Agricultural Practices through the farm management and Harvest crew.
Good Agriculture and Manufacturer Practices volunteer program, implemented by SENASICA, Servicio Nacional de Sanidad, Inocuidad y Calidad Agroalimentaria, its aim is to avoid that food safety barriers became an obstacle for Nacional produce in Internacional markets.
This program consist of a system dthat minimizes any risk in the production and packing of fruits and vegetables.

The label Mexico Calidad Suprema seeks the identification of products that comply with the following regulations: Mexican Oficial Norms (NOM´s), Mexican Norms (NMX) and International Rules in a confident and transparent system for the benefit of producers, packers, distributors and consumers.

Sustainable Agriculture is a prodcution system based in focusing on the products nutrition, this way they may be used as preventive healing aid in animals and human beings. Vegetal nutrition has an essential role, because it is the first link in the food Chaín, so if its deficient so it will be in humans or animals.
Nutrition is not defined or provided by chemical fertilizers on the soil or plants, it must be obtained through the right balance between the soil and environment. The best way to encourage it is to have the soil to get all the necessary elements and only add nutittional amendments that avoid the nutrients blockades, so that they can be absorb by the plants.
The plant may also be help with natural inputs, such as compost, compost teas, seeweed, minerals, microorganisms, etc.

With the purpose to evidence the safe usage of agrochemicals Grupo Alta performs rutinarily a multi-residue análisis in an accredited laboratory. The sampling is done representative for all our produce by an indepent qualified technician.
Through this inspection social aspects from the company toward the workers is monitored. It guides the development of policies and comunication strategies to assure the compliance of the Workers Federal Law and all the Official Mexican Norms related, helping to strenghten our Social Responsability.
